Man's Greatest Need
According to the Bible, every person born into this world is a sinner. Simply stated, that means we have all violated
God’s Word. This is a fact.
“... For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
As true in any situation, there are very real consequences to our actions.
“For the wages of sin is death.” (Romans 6:23)
Death is separation from life. This is precisely how people who live their lives apart from God exist. To remedy that
situation, Jesus said:
“That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. Do not marvel
that I said to you, ‘you must be born again.’” (John 3:6-7)
And how can one be “Born again?” Jesus answered this by saying:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not
perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
By admitting your guilt to God and, in faith, accepting the gift of God — the death of Jesus for your sins
— you, too, may have “everlasting life.”
